Bones II. More and more plastic.

More bones miniatures.   Kickstarter strikes again!

These look amazing.  Yes, I still have lots from the first Bones kickstarter that I have not painted. I have enough to keep me busy for a very very long time.  Reaper minis,  please do not do another kickstarter, you already have my money and I have kids to feed.  Don't worry, I will not let them eat the bones.

Quality is what I have come to expect. The scale seems to be a little big compared to some of my other minis. But they will fit in nicely. Detail is top notch and the minis vary greatly.

I rather like the Wild West folks. Too bad I don't play anything that uses them.  May have to have some time travel happen in a d&d game.  It can happen!

My favorite is the dragons don't share set. It is outstanding. Some if the parts do not fit right, but a little boiling water should fix it.

Here is a quick unboxing vid.  Enjoy.

Minis, oh them bones.

Where was I with the last Bones kickstarter.  I did not get very far.  I did I pick up the Return of Mister Bones as well.  *sigh*  Yes. Yes I did.  Looking forward to seeing those.

My work area has been cleaned (again) and more organized.  I hope to have a little time to paint again.  I have some beasties that I would love to get working on.

But the question I have for you is, How do you display them? Or do you?

Are they just tossed in boxes or parts bins (like the one below)?  My pre-painted minis I keep is some old Stanley parts bin...  But for my bones, I would like to display them some how.  Thoughts? Ideas? dos and don'ts?

Three new projects

Ok. I have three new projects I am going to work on. Ok, ok.. one of them is new.. the other is not. I have a ton of left over projects. I am going to try and knock a few out this year.

The first one : Dice tower. Using plaster and molds from Hirsts Arts make a simple dice tower. Sadly, I have not taken any pictures of the process, but I'll remedy that tonight.

The Second one : TARDIS. Oh yeah! you heard me. The big blue box in person. I started this a while ago and have some pics. You can see what needs to be done from them.

The Third : Painting minis. I have tons and tons and tons of minis left over from the years. I have several out on display now. I'd like to have more. I put some primer on some space marines, a skeleton pirate and some tavern folks. The marines, I am thinking of working with my oldest and see if he wants to paint with me. We will see how it goes. The others are mine to paint.
